When I first heard about KitchenDraw, I was very intrigued. I have used the software several times before but thought it was just a standard Mac program that could not be downloaded. In the end I had to return the disk and download the program from my old computer which came with a free version of the software. After downloading it, I immediately began to wonder if this really was the same thing as all the other free programs out there.
To be honest I did not know what exactly to expect when I first started to use Kitchendraw. I felt like I was still downloading a software program that was only going to be for windows. I was not disappointed; it is certainly different from many of the free software that I download on a daily basis. The best part is the fact that you can change the way the program looks. You are able to change everything from the backgrounds of the applications to the graphics of the window borders and icons. I even edited the fonts of my desktop icons in order to create more unique and modern designs.
For most people, they will be amazed at how different the software is from other free applications that they have downloaded on their computers. The way that the menu screens work is amazing and because of the larger menus on the Home Screen I am constantly adding new applications and even folders to them. Most of the time you will be surprised at how much time and effort that you save by changing the look of the application. After using the software for a little while, I would recommend that you take the time to download it for yourself so that you can experience how different it is from the rest of the free applications that you have found on your computer.
